Simrun Kaushik, a dedicated disciple of Guru Smt. Poornima Sankar Kaushik, finds immense joy in expressing herself through dance. Her connection to the art form runs deep, as she views it not just as a performance but as a soulful journey that allows her to communicate emotions and stories. She has been training for over a decade at the Surya School of Performing Arts, honing her craft with passion and discipline. In the year of 2023, Simrun ascended the stage solo for the first time, for her Salangai Poojai, which was a transformative experience for her—especially in terms of her love for the art form. Beyond dance, Simrun is an accomplished writer who enjoys creating articles and poetry. She has even authored a short novel published by Scholastic. Currently, Simrun is a Grade 11 student at National Public School, Koramangala, serving as the Vice President of the Literary Club.
