Sujata Parashar is a best – selling Indian novelist, short – story writer, poet and founder of a psychosocial platform called, Talk – it – Out (TiO). She has written eight books so far including a poetry – series and a short – story collection. Her latest fiction is titled, ‘The Temple Bar Woman’ and is a revenge story. Sujata holds a Master’s degree in Human Rights and has a rich and diverse experience in the development sector.
She is the recipient of the “100 Women Faces 2018” award for her contribution to literature and the development sector. The award is instituted by Womennovator and Confederation of Women Entrepreneurs (COWE). In 2016 she was also presented the prestigious “Karamaveer Chakra Award” instituted by iCongo (supported by UN) conferred to individuals who bring about positive social impact in the lives of people and planet.
