Vijay, Senior Partner of Varma & Varma, one of India’s oldest financial services firms, is a finance professional with over three decades of professional and training experience in financial auditing, fraud examination and information systems.
After publishing two novels in the genre of white-collar crime fiction, titled ‘Maze of Deceit’ and the sequel ‘Follow the Wall’ – he continued the passion by switching to writing about actual financial frauds that had major impacts in history and continue to influence contemporary frauds. The first volume titled Fraudster Tales published by Pan Macmillan this year looks at ten such iconic frauds from 300 BC to Enron times.
