Zilka Joseph is an internationally published poet who has authored six collections. Her new book, Sweet Malida: Memories of a Bene Israel Woman, explores the history of her community, and her journeys. Among her many awards are a Zell Fellowship and the Elsie Lee Scholarship from the University of Michigan.
